Happy Father’s Day

Engineers make the best fathers. Now that I’m 27 years old, I know this for sure. Recently when I had a breakdown, my dad gave me a head massage. Usually, I hate anyone touching my scalp, but I felt the touch familiar; it felt safe. Weirdly, it felt like he was familiar with my brain. Like he knew where which wire was present, he knew how to find the fault in there and fix it. Like he knew me better than I did. And then it felt like he rebooted my mind because before I knew it, I was fast asleep. Next day I was like dad, that was so crazy what you did there. And he told me used to give me head massages when I was a baby and my scalp was soft. And I was like mindblown! Do all fathers do this? If not, they should! Engineers find a weird way to connect with their kids, and that bond is so strong.
